This contemporary bed & breakfast inn should be written into a book on hidden gardens of San Francisco. The rooms have the ambiance of a mas in the South of France. Fresh designer linens, private bath, private phone, amid the feeling of an old farmhouse, with is the actual history of the Artists Inn building. When you walk in, you are immediately faced with a charming farm kitchen hung with copper and iron pots. The kitchen looks out into the garden, which is in the center of all the multi-level rooms both in the main house and the back cottage annex. All rooms have a private entrance. The owners and hosts, Denise and Bill Shields have complimented the decor with Bill Shield's paintings and artworks, and Denise' flair with quality accents and design.
