DESCRIPTION
After your complimentary San Francisco hotel pickup at
approximately 9:15 AM, we begin with a 15-minute stop at
the Palace of Fine Arts. Built in 1915 for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition, the Palace of
Fine Arts is home to works of living Impressionist
artists.
View the "City by the Bay" from the world
famous Golden Gate Bridge as we venture out for a day of
sightseeing! We'll make a 10-15 minute stop at a fabulous
view point overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and San
Francisco.
Take a walk in Muir Woods, a National Monument set aside
in 1908 as a federally protected area (admission
included). See the tallest trees on earth! Take 1-2 hours
at Muir Woods to do what you like. Most guests like to do
the loop walk, one mile of flat terrain in each
direction.
We make our way to the Sonoma wine country on an
approximate 45-minute drive, stopping for a short break
to grab lunch (meal not included). Our lunch stop is
either in the historic town of Sonoma or at one of the
wineries. Expect to spend approximately $10 on lunch.
After lunch we visit 3-4 wineries for tasting in the
famous Sonoma Valley! You will have a chance, if you are
over 21, to taste a wide variety of whites, reds, and
dessert wines, whatever is your fancy at such places as
Viansa, Cline, Homewood and Benziger Family Wineries.
We'll visit at least 3 wineries. Wine is available to
taste, purchase, take with you or ship home. At at least
one winery, meet the winemaker, walk through the
vineyard, see and learn about the processing equipment.
View the beautiful valleys that supply California and the
world with fantastic wines. The scenery of the rolling
hills and the rows and rows of wine grapes provides
incredible views and photographs.
Indulge in cheese samples at the Sonoma Jack Cheese
Factory before we head back to San Francisco via
Sausalito. Expect to arrive at your hotel between 6 and
6:30 PM.

Gate Bridge to visit the redwoods, the tallest trees on
earth.
* Dress in lightweight clothing, wear sunblock, bring
comfortable shoes.
* Wear layered clothing to ensure comfort in cooler
temperatures.

visitors center or view the sites!

stops in Sonoma Valley.
* Tempt your palate with cheese samples at Sonoma Jack

your spot on this tour. An E-ticket will be sent to you
via e-mail, just print it off and present it at check-in
on the day of your tour. Simple eh?
Cancel Policy: All seats are guaranteed once you receive
your E-ticket. Cancellations will be refunded in full
minus a $25.00 per person processing fee. No Shows and
Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour date are
non-refundable.
